- Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam
This green lung, known as the Shah Alam National Botanical Garden, is ideal for spending more time with family. It not only has lovely views amidst a man-made lake as well as lush picnic areas, but it also has other enjoyable activities The Aviary and Bunny Park, a miniature petting zoo with a variety of lovely animals, is ideal for couples with infants and toddlers. Entry costs RM3 for grownups plus RM1 for children aged 6 to 11.
- Taman Saujana Hijau
Taman Saujana Hijau is a gorgeous park filled with flowering flowers and slopes of conifer-lined hills that make you feel like you’re in a distant world. The lovely park, which spans 41 hectares, is made up of three smaller themed parks. You’ll find plenty of nice areas to lay out your picnic blanket in the European Park, Oriental Park, and English Park, to name a few.
- Perdana Botanical Garden
Perdana Botanical Garden is a popular leisure park in Kuala Lumpur with a huge lake in the spotlight. The park consists of several gardens, such as Sunken Garden, Hibiscus Garden, Herbarium and Laman Perdana. With its lush greenery, blooming flowers and charming buildings, it is relatively easy to find a place to avoid the light and enjoy a wonderful picnic experience. The locals love it. Especially on weekends, you will see them jogging in the morning to sweat or inspire photographers by taking great photos of the area. If you plan to go for a walk, your lakeside path will make a beautiful backdrop.
- Kanching Rainforest Waterfall
A picnic by the waterfall may be the way you need to shake off the stress of a hard work week. The question is, where can I find waterfalls in the Klang Valley? 3 words: Kanching Rainforest Waterfall. Located in the Kanching Forest Reserve, the well-maintained leisure park is located on the main road to Ipoh, between Selayang and Rawang. Blessed with picturesque lakes and many lush greenery, it is an ideal place for a fun afternoon picnic after jogging (the park offers jogging trails, and the loops range from 1 km to 2.3 km!). Dog lovers will be happy to know that this is a dog-friendly park! There are many people nearby who go out to walk their dogs in the park, so when you are here, you have a chance to find some furry babies.
